The best comebacks are the ones that are not said. A simple facial jesture that says "Wow how old are you?" is way better than any one liner.

For 5th graders: "I'm rubber and you're glue....."
For 7th graders: "No I'm not, so you you can stop looking at me like a queer."
For 9th graders: "Just because you go around playing pocket pool, doesn't make everyone else gay."
For anyone older than that: Why would you even care if somebody calls you gay? You should be well past caring what people call you and your homophobia.
And to all my friends who are gay... no disrespect intended.

Just use reverse psychology.
Just be like, "Yep, that's me. Gay."
Then they'll leave you alone.
A few years ago I was accused of being a lesbian.
At first I argued with them.
Then I got smart.
I went on saying, "Yeah I'm a lesbian."
In a way sarcastic way.
Then eventually they just lost interest.

Call them "straight". It makes about as much sense. If you're not gay, then you can just respond with "your mom is kind of manly but I would go as far as calling me gay because of it".

usually its a proposition, I usually say no thank you
one time at work, someone was calling and saying graphically, meet me in the alley and put it in here and do this and that with it , etc, graphically
I answered the phone in front of my boss, I politely said , no thank you
my boss was laughing hysterically, I will never forget it
