Because He was fully God from Heaven and fully a sinless man at the same time.
For such an high priest [Jesus Christ] became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens. (Hebrews 7:26)
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5)

Furthermore, the Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon on the Last Day to judge all unsaved men according to their works. Since Christ has already paid the penalty of eternal damnation for all of His people at the cross, they are no longer subject to judgment and will live with the Lord in Heaven forever:

… when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from Heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord… (2 Thessalonians 1:7-9)

The Bible says to repent.

The Old Testament says it, John the Baptist said it, Jesus said it, and Paul said it.

To receive of the promise, we must believe. We must repent to procure it for ourselves and make it personal.

God will NOT allow sin in His heavenly kingdom! ALL sin will be punished!

Yes, it's true that God so loved us that Jesus died for our sins.

But remember also that God is Holy, and as such, He can NOT allow unrepentant sinners into heaven, or heaven would become as corrupt as earth is!

there is no such thing as a sinless man. that is blasphemy.

and there is no such thing as a Man who is God. that is blasphemy and idolotry.

there is no mediator neccesary.

>>"they are no longer subject to judgment and will live with the Lord in Heaven forever:"<<
that is unjust, evil and against the nature of God.

God himself, without incarnation, without sacrifice, without mediator, is MY only "Savior" in any situation in which salvation is needed.

God is Just.

why do you think that MY God is not sufficiently powerful or inclined to "save" me as neccesary? sorry.

the entire principle of God "sacrificing his son" for us, is nonsensical. it implies that if he had not, he'd be unable to forgive. its as though some force was holding everyone else hostage, if he didn't, ... which is of course absurd. that would mean there was a power greater than God. and that is obviously not true.

If your God was wronged, it was well within His power to forgive, no one had to die. It was Gods choice and he chose death, as usual.

When man makes sacrifices to God, God is rewarded, What higher power was Jesus sacrificed to? Who did God appease with His offering? Surely not the lowly, sinful human species.

Why can't you guys invent a more prudent God?

Because He died on the cross for the redemption of our sins.
