Do you actively eat toothpaste? Probably not, being that you are still alive. When you breathe you take in particles and things related to food (and alot of things you shouldn't eat either, but let's not worry about that just now). A few particles that got in your stomach accidentally...I think God (Allah, YVHV, pick your flavor) can forgive.

Fasting is a religious superstitious. It doesn't matter what you do in concern to fasting. Fasting does nothing for the Christian follower, nor anyone else for that matter.
