There is no simple recipe for cheesecake - unless you make a Jello brand no-bake cheesecake. Here is a recipe for Philly Cheesecake
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
12 ounces cream cheese
3/4 cup white sugar
4 eggs
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups heavy whipping cream
Grease an 8 inch springform pan thickly with butter. Turn pan on its side, place a few graham cracker crumbs in pan and shake so crumbs stick to sides. Keep turning and add crumbs as needed until sides are well coated. Set pan upright and coat bottom of pan. Put pan into freezer for 30 minutes or refrigerator for 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
With electric beater, mix cream cheese, sugar, egg yolks, flour, vanilla, and salt. Beat thoroughly and then turn mixer to slowest speed and slowly pour in the cream.
Beat the egg whites until stiff but not dry. Add to the above mixture and fold the whites in by hand, lightly but thoroughly. Pour mixture into the crumb-lined pan.
Set pan into shallow pan containing 1 inch hot water and bake at 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) for 1 1/2 hours. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours before serving.

Crust:
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon sugar
Filling:
16 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
5 large eggs, room temperature
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup heavy cream
Serving suggestion: Fresh or Marinated Berries, or Raspberry Sauce
Position a rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F.
To make the crust: In a small bowl, mix the cracker crumbs with the melted butter and the sugar together until evenly moistened. Press the crumb mixture onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake the crust until golden brown, about 10 to 12 minutes. Cool the pan on a rack.
Lower the oven temperature to 325 degrees F. In the bowl of a standing mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, or with a hand-held mixer, cream the cream cheese on medium speed until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and beat until light and fluffy. (Stop mixing and scrape down the sides of the bowl and beaters as needed.) Beat in the sour cream. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla and cream. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake until the top of the cheesecake is lightly browned, but the center still jiggles slightly, about 45 minutes. Cool the cake in the pan on a rack. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight before serving.
To remove the cake from the pan, run a knife or offset spatula around the edges to release the edges from the pan. Open the springform pan and remove the ring.
Cut the cheesecake into wedges and serve with berries or a raspberry sauce if desired.

cream cheeses
butter
sugar
milk
1 egg
vanilla or cinnamon or other spice
graham crackers (smashed into fine powder)
butter
sugar
Bake for about 20-30 min depending on your tastes
Jazz it up with choclate or strawberries or other fruits....good luck and have fun!
Granted the long version tastes a bit better. but to be a good cook, DONT use ar ecipe, just use your hands and your senses. taste it to make sure that you like it since you will be eating it.
Only do the long official versions if you are having important company. Friends and family will be happy with the simple version becuas eit tast just about the same.

I have the simplest recipe for you....just buy a frozen cheesecake (preferably one from the cheesecake factory, which they sell in many grocery stores now) and then transfer to your own dish. It's easy as pie and is oh so good! you could even buy the plain cheesecake and garnish with your own fruit or chocolate toppings. Good luck and enjoy!

Jello instant cheesecake mix. Its simple and easy and doesn't take more than about 20 minutes. It really does taste good too. I can't say its as good as a home made one, but it is much easier.

You know what is really easy. They have mixes in a box at the grocery store and all you do is all water to the mix and then make the crust. Super easy.
