Horse shampoo can indeed make your hair grow quicker.
I personally use "Dobbinajar" which has been specially formulated from the black market in Aintree.
Made from extracts of Red Rum, and Eyore, it makes the hairs on the back of your kneck grow at an alarming pace, though not furlong.
Lester Piggot apparently swore by "Dobbinajar" which was rode home some years later to a meat factory in Caterham, Surrey.

Bungholes ! As far as I've heard, nothing makes hair "grow faster"
However, healthy hair will stand a much better chance of growing to it's full potential each month...which is between 1/4 inch to 1 inch.
It's also genetic.... and don't forget...different hairtypes have different characterists too.
Just keep up a good hair care routine, eat healthy and drink lots of water and this should keep your hair healthy enough to maximize your potential hair growth .

there is actually nothing that will make your hair grow faster. this is a myth... what you can do though is take omega 3's like a fish oil or flax seed oil this will make it really healthy, and your skin.... prenatal vitamins, horse shampoo, rogaine.... all of those products are a waste of money... get a good cut, sit back and it will grow a 1/2 an inch a month.

good luck!

Hair grows at 1/2 inch per month, 3/4 inch during the summer months. There are vitamin supplements that profess to increase hair growth but I don't know how they work or how effective they are. Go to your local vitamin store and ask for them.

Biotin will make it grow faster. It is a natural supplement and can be found on the vitamin isle of just about any drug store or grocery store.

No shampoo is proven to make your hair grow faster, that is just a marketing gimmic. But, your hair will be healthier if you use conditioner and don't misstreat it.
