homemade fisheye?

i dont know if you heard of it but people are making a fisheye lens for their cameras with either using a peephole or a televison. and i have a few questions for it if you guys have done it before 1.how do you do it (instructions)2. where do u buy a peephole (ex. home depot?) 3. if im trying the tv lens system where would i find the lens +instructions

It might be possible to do but the image quality would be poor, especially with a door peephole.
