Yes, I ate fried alligator. It is prepared like nuggets and it is made from the meat in the tail of the alligator. This alligators are raised for this purpose. I went to a little cafe on International Drive in Orlando. It tastes a little like chicken and the meat is white.

Yes,We have a Swamp Cabbage festival each February,and one of the specialties is fried alligator nuggets.It is very tasty,and mostly tastes like the usual (CHICKEN).However it is a little bit more chewier.

Sure, I live in 'gator country. Tastes like chicken.
It's good, can easily get rubbery if cooked too long.
