I eat a tuna fish sandwich everyday for lunch at work (its quick and easy)...somebody at work said that tuna everyday is really bad for you....because they put some kind of chemicals in the tuna that can harm you?! Is this true?!

Eventually it is.. apart from the small amounts of mercury, its real healthy.. its low on fat, high on protein, good cholesterol, and low cal.

To avoid all the mercury build up i'd change between other lean meats during lunch. (One day tuna, one day chicken breast, one day turkey breast, one day salmon etc.)

there is mercury in lots of fish because of all the junk dumped into the oceans. eating tuna once in a while is fine, but every day might pose a problem. read the article for more information.

Yes and no. Tuna have small traces of mercury (naturally, not something they added). Small amounts won't cause any harm, but steady exposure can cause health problems. You should try switching it up and doing egg salad every other day.

Be careful tuna contains mercury and too much of it can be bad for you...

There are high levels of mercury in white albacore tuna. But it only affects women who still may become pregnant.

the recommended amount is up to 3 servings a week
tuna often contains mercury from contaminated water
so you should start sutting back, try pbj sandwiches or something
