I'm looking for some good "opinion" openers during the day that can transition into a topic or story that can create some attraction. What can I open with besides relationships?
What opener would you use that'll get the girl to let her guards down just a little bit?

Neo Siren is lying, or she is clueless. I'm a dude, and Mystery rocks. Opinion opers actually do work, but that's only a part of the game. Think about drama, relationships, dilemas. if a girl gives an answer here about "those things dont work", disregard it. Women don't know how they are attracted to a guy, for them it "just happens". In fact, studies have been done where single women were asked what attracts them in a man. they answered with the conventional logical stuff (nice, sweet, well-mannered, kind to aminals!). and then when they entered a relationship, they asked them again. Their answers described the man they were with, which then changes with each different guy they date. Women "like" things about a guy in context. Neo siren, Don't misguide dudes; you're the reason ppl like Mystery have jobs.

Sounds like someone's been watching the pickup artist...Those "openers" don't really work. Just be yourself and go up to her and ask her something like who's your fav actor/band, etc. You don't need an opinion opener to start a conversation. If a guy walked up to me and asked me what my favorite band was I would love to have a convo with him, since I like talking about music. Personally, if someone came up to me with that, I would look at them weird and ignore them.
Ugh..JD...fine, I agree to a certain extent, so I'll say those openers don't work on everyone. They usually only work on the desperate type that wants someone to talk to them, or the nice type that can't say no. But c'mon, if some guy walked up to me and asked me what he should do about his sister getting a piercing I'd be like wtf, make a face, and walk away. Those openers might as well be pickup lines.
