As the shorter Westminster Confession of Faith, 1st catechism says:

Man's chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy him forever.

The Bible symbolically refers to the created earth as God's footstool. Which ought to serve to keep us humble.

Creationism is so entirely and utterly flawed.Evolution is really the only plausible explanation of life (considering it's the only one with proof to back it up). Religion has been trying for centuries to explain life(haven't done a good job yet)and they still have the fairy tales of "Adam and Eve" and the world being 6000 years old and so on and so forth. Religion is flawed.I am a born again Agnostic :)
Have a great day

Humans are a means to an end. We are just vessels for Spirit.
There was one, I'll call it god. It's own internal struggle caused it to implode and created the universe and beyond.
Everything is part of what was once the one, we are part of god.

We were put on Earth because that's where all of the food, oxygen, liquid water, and good temperatures are at. Plus, there's no abundance of inert gases to poison us, silly!

God made the world, people rebelled against God and have come out of the relationship we are created for, but Jesus took our sins on himself so that we have a way back through him. As the created, I am happy to worship a god who loves me that much....that's what I'm here for.

Our parents get it together and we are created.

There is more likely than not no god as if he existed why would he allow us his children to continually kill each other over the simple question of ' does he exist' ? Surely if he appeared in a london Tesco's this would all stop.

The world was created as theatre for us to demonstrate our love of God. Instead we fight wars, fight each other, and fight ourselves. Its time we started fighting the demons instead.

St. Michael, the archangel, defend us in this day of battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou O prince of the heavenly host, by the divine power, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits, who wander now throughout the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Pax et caritas.

The question is a form of the fallacy "begging the question", since it assumes there is a purpose and that we were somehow "put" here.
