Isn't Romney your Tom Cruise? He makes everyone interested and then they find out about the bizarre beliefs. Shouldn't you guys lie low for a while?

On the contrary -- the more people talk about Mormons the more will take the time to listen to our message. Only the true hard-hearted will listen to our critics and not to us.

This is a great time for the LDS church.

The heat has been on the Mormon Church since it was founded nearly 200 years ago. Why should we be interested in getting the heat off now???

Doesn't everyone have bizzare beliefs?

Athiests believe everything happened by accident and that primates turned into humans.

Christians believe that Christ walked on water and that Noah built an ark.

Buddhists believe that non-existence is what we're all working towards.

Hindu believe that cows are practically deity.

So why are Mormon belief's "bizarre" and everyone else's are normal???

There are a lot of people who like Mitt Romney and Glenn Beck, regardless of their religious beliefs. I am a Norse Heathen but they have political views and social values that I can support even if I don't share their theological beliefs.

I think the liberals are trying to make their religion an issue because they are standing for the traditional values that most Americans actually believe. What was so wrong with the Ozzie-and-Harriet world?

I thought Steve Young and the Osmond's were our Tom Cruise. Or maybe it depends on which circle you're involved in.
Political- Mitt and Glen do well.
Sports -Steve Young and Shawn Bradley (you know, that twig that played basketball)
Entertainment- Osmonds ( a little outdated), and Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite)
Business -Stephan Covey and J. W. Marriott.

Edit: Oh, I forgot Gladys Knight in the music industry

NO neither of them are an embarrasement to the church in my opinion. I love Glen, though he is a little crazy at times.

Romney is totally not our Tom Cruise. Neither is Glenn- If you ask either of them they will tell you that they don't want to be considered spokesmen for the Church. Glenn says that all the time.

What about the bizarre beliefs of other Christians?

I find it interesting that people with bizarre beliefs (for example the Baptists) find the beliefs of Mormons bizarre.

No. That must have been what prompted Elders Holland and Nelson to take off the gloves and give the one two punch to the Antis.
