In God of War, when Kratos is in Pandora's Temple and he is in the vicinity of the room with the saw blades rolling on the floor, he can make his way outside to climb the walls towards a tower.
Once in the tower, he enters a room with a wooden floor. The exits are sealed and he has to fend off Sirens and some demons with gold shields, impenetrable to either his chain axes or Hermes' blade. After a minute or so, the floor collapses and Kratos seemingly falls into a red pit followed by the announcement that you are "dead."
My question is two fold: 1) How do you get out of that room with the collapsable wooden floor? What am I supposed to do? 2) Where do you find the handle to the lever in order to raise Atlas' globe for release to break through the crack in the wall?

to get out of the room, you must kill the sirens and shielded enemies very fast. to break their shields, do prometheus' plume... square, square, triangle.

The other guy was right, you have to defeat all of the enemies in the room as quickly as possible before the floor opens up and you fall.
Also, I think that the handle to the lever is in this room also. After you kill all of the ememies in the room with the collapsing floor, you should be able to get the handle too.
