Our daughter (16) goes to a military boarding school in Virginia. To make the story short, 4 girls decided to "get" her by alleging the use of pot. The school's drug policy is zero tolerance - expulsion for illegal drug use. No second chances. These girls all independantly told the same story and went around telling everyone that she had been busted for drugs.
The school drug tested her (which has since come back NEGATIVE), locked her dorm room down pending a search, searched her person, made her sleep on a couch outside the guard's office for the weekend - essentially treated her like a criminal.
I do NOT blame the school for their actions on this. However, now that our daughter is exonerated I am not happy with the school's lack of interest in pursuing these horrible girls who now giggle about how they "got her good", and of course most people haven't heard about the negative result.

I think there may be a criminal case here. They tried to get her expelled. Anyone know?

I do not know the legalalities here, but I know I would be very angry too. I might try taking an ad out in the local paper in the editorials or something stating the way things really are.
One thing I know to be true, is that what comes around, goes around. Maybe fate will take care of things for you. I know it is easier said then done, but try,'Turning the other cheek". What those girls did was horrible. I hope your daughter can find forgivness in her heart for what they did. I wish your guys the best of luck.

Girls only go to "military" boarding schools because they are impossible to live with in the home. My guess is that your daughter is no angel and you've been rescuing her all along. Let it go, she'll work it out.

First thing to do is to speak to an attorney.
If it can be proven that what you daughter went through is false, you may have a case.
Good luck.
