If I were you I'd see a doctor especially if it was a hamburger from the Topps Meat Company since they just went out of business due to a huge recent recall of meat that was tainted. If you have stomach upset and diarreah, you probably have eaten bad or undercooked meat. If meat is cooked and then left on the counter for hours until you get home, you run the risk of the meat going rancid, especially in the heat...which could also cause you to get sick. Other than Pepto Bismol or something like that, most food poisonings have to run their course. Just make sure there is no blood in your stools. If that happens, see doctor ASAP

Well, to be honest, You need to find out if the hamburger was a Topps brand. If so, there was a recall for causing E. Coli O157:H7 strain bacteria. For this reason, Topps have gone out of business.
Sample from Article:
Symptoms of E. coli O157:H7 exposure could include stomach cramps and diarrhea. Bloody diarrhea may develop. E. coli disease sometimes leads to a complication called hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS). If you exhibited any of these symptoms within 3 to 5 days of consuming any of the products specified above, seek medical attention immediately.
GO TO THE HOSPITAL ASAP! (Just to make sure)

You really need to go to the doctor. Your doctors office should offer a spin down program that is based on income. Most doctors offices have those programs now. Also hospitals over these programs as well, they also offer insurance programs thru them that will cover doctors and tretments outside the hospital that are on their covered lists and they also have some cases that they still cover for special circumstances. All hospitals offer the spin down program. With this being from meat you need to seriously have it checked out, meat cotamination can cause permanant damage if not treated. Good luck and best wishes.

you could have a bacterial infection from the meat.
You should have a local public health office where you can get checked out at reduced payments or for free. Don't wait because if this is serious food poisoning, you could develop permanent effects.

First, look at the box and check to see if it's been recalled.
Second, drink a LOT of water. Your cramping type pains would come from not enough water.
Stick to plain rice or plain mashed potatoes. Skip caffeine or anything that dehydrates, like salt.

Did you know that hamburger patties (frozen) put out by a distributer (I think called Topps) had a recall because it had ecoli? If she made the burger herself you should be okay, other wise you better go to a doctor.
