Esther and Songs of Solomon.
People say that a Christian band that has songs that doesn't have the word God in it is not a good band, and yet in the Bible there are 2 books that God uses to talk to people and they don't have the word God in it!!!

Esther,
Cast in the court of the persian King, this book, which includes not one reference to the God of the Jews, presents in romantic fashion an explanation for the Jewish festival of Purim.

Esther. i have often wonder why this book was included?
but all scripture has a message. the Jews believe that
each scripture has 7 layers of understanding. we have a lot
to study, don't we?!

Esther.
{edit}: The longest verse in the Bible is also found in the book of Esther:
"Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to their language." - Esther 8:9.
As far as the question: "Which one book in the bible shows God has as the God who hides Himself?" In another sense, no doubt that would be Psalms:
Ps 13:1 - How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
Ps 27:9 - Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
Ps 30:7 - LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
Ps 51:9 - Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
Ps 55:1 - Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.
Ps 69:17 - And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.
Ps 89:46 - How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?
Ps 102:2 - Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.
Ps 119:19 - I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
Ps 143:7 - Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
