every living organism has a soul including plants according to science and the vedas.. dont feel so bad about yourself i am not a christian but i am a hindu.... everyone is equal .. the main goal is to pay off all your karma and go to eternal sleep within the divine god... dont listen to the bishop or the bible that say women dont have souls and if they really beleive that do you think god loves his children as christians state? also one of my questions is why is god judgemental? i do not see judging people a sign of being perfect as the bible go dis stated to be so dont feel bad at all women are actually more important than men i mean can a child ever grow up the same with a father alone than a mother alone? i would say the child has a better chance with a mother

In Genesis, God created Eve out from Adam (the material used is Adam himself = "High class material"). He created Eve to be Adam's helper.
>> Helper is defined as a person that helps or gives assistance, support, etc. Just like we have Managers and Assistant Managers. Does this mean that Assistant Managers are not managers themselves? Of course not! It's just that they have different responsibilities levels. It could jolly well be the Managers doing the planning, and the Assistant Managers oversee the plan execution to make sure the plans run smoothly.
Have you read the book of Esther? It is a beautiful book that speaks of how God led Esther in a great way that saved the Jews from being massacred.
If God does not value us women, then He will not have allowed a woman (Mary) to birth Jesus, nor will He have supported her throughout her pregnancy.
Like what others have said, if your Pastor / Bishop has this "Women are inferior" mentality and teaches all these things, maybe it's time for you to leave that church and look for another church that practices and preaches the correct things according to Word of God.
You may want to read "The Confident Woman" by Joyce Meyer. I am reading that book currently and it's good.

I think the cry was real, but she was "crying" because she is an opportunist and want everyone to remember she is supposed to be the inevitable winner. I dont have a favorite, there are 2 candidates in both parties that I'd be fine wih.... But the media is certainly not for Hillary. It was very clear they wanted us to think Obama was the next Robert Kennedy (which might be a fair comparrison). The media has helped build the fantasy of Obama, and has really given hillary a tough time (deservedly so, as all candidates should be). I'm guessing you are being a little inauthentic, in that you probably never liked her to begin with. I sometimes like her sometimes hate her. I'll take anyone in the Dems or GOP running over the tradgedy of George Bush

God is not unfair. For the sake of the bishop, I hope he was misquoted to you, though I do not defend anyone who says this. The bible is filled with many instances where women are shown to be equal to men. Men and Women are DIFFERENT, but EQUAL (these two words are not synonymous as society tells us). The bible is full of references as to how women are equal to men. Read the gospels, God could have chosen to just appear on earth, but Chose a Women to bring him into the world (Luke Chapter 1, the entire Chapter). In Romans the author tells a husband to be the head of his wife, as Christ is the head of the church, though some may take this line out of context and say men are above there wives, and that the wife should be slave to the man, this is not the context. Think and pray about it, men are to live up to the example of Christ, the perfect man, that is a very tall order. For examples of how Christ loves women, read the gospels, there are many examples, including saving the prostitute from being stoned, saying she is saved by her faith, the woman with hemorrhages who touched the tassel of his cloak, he always had great love and respect for women, and people has a whole. To these women and many others, he said "your faith has saved you." Nearly any christian will tell you (and should tell you) that when Christ tells you "Your faith has saved you." You are going to heaven.
Hope this helps. And to clarify for anyone, this is from a Roman Catholic.

I don't know where you are getting your info from but it is way off base. You as a woman as far as having a soul and spirit are just the same as any man. God does not love you any less than God loves any man. He tells us in John 3:16 that "whosoever" believes on Him shall not perish. No, don't question your salvation in Christ or anything regarding your relationship with God through Christ, it is the same as any man's. Yes man can let you down ( as you mentioned some bishop) but God's word is truth and sharper than any two edged sword, trust it and believe it. In a family situation the scriptures tell us man is to be the Spiritual head, this does not put a woman down in any way, this is just God's way of order. The woman has just as many responsibilities in the family scene and these are according to God's order as well. Hopefully you will search out the word and continue to grow in your love and service to the Lord. Don't look to man for answers or you could be disappointed, look to God. Cheers!

Of course women have souls. We are just as valueable as men.
Yes, I have always hated those passages that make women seem less then human. But remember dear those are only words in a book.
Revel in being a woman, you have self worth, you are a wonderful person full of possibility.
You are beautiful, vibrant and sacred in yourself.
You will go to your heaven if that is what you decide you want, the choice is yours.
You are not an animal but a human being with feelings and worth.
The bible is a very old book, which was translated from one language to the next so many times that I think the translation got messed up and confused.
Therefore the translator made it say what they wanted it to. Sad but true.
Enjoy being a woman its a wonderful thing. Revel in your femininity. Its a gift.
My religion teaches that to be woman is Sacred just as our bodies and sexuality is something to be enjoyed.
Respect yourself and all the beauty that comes with being a woman.
Blessings, light and love

I've gotta agree with C.L. I think perhaps you ought to look into what the Bible says, instead of believing some bishop.
C.L. actually answered another question on marriage, and I would recommend looking at it (I put it on my watch list, just in case nobody gave a good answer, as soon as it was submitted). Husbands are supposed to love and respect their wives, and women ARE able to go to heaven. It's pretty obvious from the way that Jesus Himself treated women.

Sounds like this Bishop needs to dust off his Bible and take a second look, and you should know better if you have been a practicing Christian for years.

You have been listening to lies. Get yourself a New Living translation of the Holy Bible it is written in plain modern English. Read the truth for yourself.
When God made us, He made man and woman and together He called us Man!
