I am wondering how do you keep fresh while on the road? I know the truck stops have showers, but do you get to shower daily? Any tips would be appreciated as I am considering Trucking as a possible career?

i'm not a driver but my ex is and i used to go with him for months at a time and yes, the showers are great, petro truck stops have the best. get some of the facial cleansing cloths, the dollar store brand are as good. they work in the mornings as a quick freshen up. or through out the day. also the personal hygiene cloths are very good summers eve has a good one but once again, the dollar store brand is as good. there will be days you wont get to shower. make sure you have a super power deodorant and the shower to shower powder is another good one to have. also, drink lots of water. watch the salt intake. feel free to email me i have more but some is kinda personal...

My sister has been trucking for many years. I would prefer a real shower every day, but she has talked about carrying washcloths for just the important parts. (what some may call a 'whore's bath').
