At times it might and at other times it serves as a fire that motivates him. Stewart would have won the race yesterday if Gordon had stayed behind Johnson. Gordon saw that and eased over in front of Stewart. Smart move by Gordon.

not at all, the goal is to go out and win every race. He just missed it yesterday. His first mistake was when he was leading going from the bottom to the top and shot too far up and newman went by him. Then at the end he tried to make another move of some sort and went from 2nd to 8th. I love tony, but should have just settled for 2nd for the 7th time. LOL!
He just wants to win, now hes kinda far back in the points and he is just very frustrated.

Go smoke!!!

I think that every driver gets thay way at one point in time or another. I think that you have to make those decisions so quick that you dont have time to second guess yourself or let your emotions get to you because if you do then you are definitely not going to succeed in the race, and yet he has quite a few wins to his name himself, so obviously its not as bad as we think it is.

Yeah it can help motivate him but sometimes he just needs to settle down. He needs to get his emotions and his head to work together because he's not only gonna mess up his own weekend but another guy's as well, like he's done in the past.

Of COURSE not. Would Michelangelo let the Pope get in the way of his masterpiece on the Sistine Chapel? Hey, he's only doing what comes naturally to him.

I like to see the drivers get fired up. At least you know they still have that desire to win.
