There is an article in a Maximum PC magazine that i am trying to set up, but there is an inconsistency. I want to be able to take my computer out of standby mode by wiggling my mouse. It tells me the following "Go to control panel, click system, and then device manager, and then locate the entry for your mouse in this list; right click it and choose properties. Click the power management tab and select " allow this device to bring the computer out of standby"" That is all fine and good, but when i click on the properties there is no power management tab. Only General, Driver, and Details. Please help. How do i set it so my mouse allows my computer to come out of standby?

Your motherboard doesn't support that feature.

Just disable Standby altogether. Most Desktop PC's don't need it anyway.

Just look for something similar.
