i'm trying to lose at least 20 pounds. i am 5'4 and i weigh around 150. is what i've eaten so far healthy?

breakfast: a non fat yogurt, w/ some fiber one cereal mixed in.

snack: apple

lunch: small salad w/ south beach diet vingrette dressing & some tuna.

snack: 2 animal crackers & a can of v8 vegetable juice.

also this morning i did a 1 mile jog exercise, and i plan on doing more work outs later on.

To loose pounds you have to eat fewer calories than you use in exercise. A one mile jog may be a huge event for you, but it is only 20 minutes of exercise. Do that five times a week. (A run is 4 miles a hour)
Get some strength training mixed in. Work out with weights to tone and trim. Muscle weighs more than fat so altho you may not weigh less in pounds, you'll be strong and trim!

The thing about dieting is if you can stick to it that's fine, if you love the foods you ate you are on your way to better eating which you need to learn to remain at the correct weight for your height. 20 lbs is not too much I'm about your height and no I'm telling my weight but 130 for your height is not unrealistic.

You can go to the library or online and find out which foods work best to break down all the fibre and vitamins you are putting into your body for maximum absorption of the nutrients. Pineaple is a great fruit for this but please research this and good luck if you keep it up you will be slimmin and smilin and feeling energetic to boot. I know you can do it.

They will also generate a diet plan & workout plan for you based on how many pounds you want to lose in how much time you want to lose it!
