Religions were evolved for the uplftment and betterment of human beings.But still,people fight amongst themselves to show that their religion is superior than of other.

too many people want to be "right" - and they need everyone else to be "wrong" to boost their low sense of self-worth.

Unjust fighting and hostility only happens when both parties are not paying attention to the Holy Revelations sent unto them from their Lord Allah.
Previous Revelations as well as The Holy Quran is to be read by all Muslims so that we may have High regards for Allah and respect the path he has chosen for other people to follow and not dispute with them about their path unless it be on the grounds of Atheism or Polytheism etc.

Because not all religions attribute similar qualities to God, and most religions have very different ideas about the nature of God. I.e. - Muslims think Christians commit one of the gravest sins, when they worship Jesus as God. Christians think Muslims commit one of the gravest of sins when they say Jesus is not God. I.e., the Musllim and Christian concepts of God are antithetical, and stupid people on either side of the argument can't seem to live with that.

Given the similarities, the differences seem so trivial. Yet, it seems that the "I'm more holy than you" mentality is innate.

Christianity is the ONLY one that doesnt use some kind of works to get to Heaven. we use what the Bible says. Well as for me i dont try to make Christianity better but i at least show people what the Bible says bout everything

all religions do NOT connect to God. there is only ONE way to God and that is through Jesus.
1 Timothy 2:5 declares, "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."

Because man's basic reaction to fear has been to war against others. Read the bible, it's riddled with actual rules for slavery, dipicted by a god who claims to be jealous and vengeful! {Whichi s really man making God in his own image, claiming their god of the time instructed them to do so.}
There's many accounts of incest also.
I am certainly thankful after being Baptist and Catholic,
that the TRUE God lead me away from the indoctrinated belief in primative man's god, in the bible, and He showed me the TRUTH!
