Controversy on the risks and benefits of Kevlar? What are the indirect risks?
Is there a similar product that exists? And what are the better ways to manufacture/dispose of Kevlar?

Any answers would be greatly apprecitated. Thanks

I would tell you that the kevlars are heavy and it sucks to wear them. I know that they do protect well...if you duck quick enough to protect your face. I saw something on discovery how the kevlar has evolved and is suppose to be very durable. It is a better idea than the big metal helmets they use to fight with back in the day....I wish they would come out with something better designed...that strap sucks too. Sorry...just my opinion.
