You can get a 5 # bag of - 5 % 7 - at your garden center.
It is cheep enough to use on his beading and even treat
the yard. You can use it in the carpet as well and vacuum it
up the next day. Dust the cat all over pretty good and 1 or 2
hours latter you can wash it off. Use watter a little above luke
worm. He still want like it but it will be so much better than
suffering with the fleas. My last cat lived 20 1/2 years. The
fact that you say he is so old means he has been well cared
for. Don't stop now. Love the Kitty.

Try Advantage. The other benefit is it's a bit cheaper than Frontline. I've been using frontline spray for my kitten and puppy. It doesn't seem to be working. As soon as I can I'm going to be getting Advantage. My Mom uses only advantage and has not had any problems with fleas. Even her 14 year old cat does well on it. It couldn't hurt to try a different product.

it rather is as a results of fact you ought to use extra suitable than in basic terms Frontline in case you have have been given a severe infestation, as you seem to. Frontline is reliable, yet will basically kill and stop grownup fleas on the animal - it would not kill flea eggs and pupae, and it would not handle the surroundings. quite a few those are important in case you desire to do away with all fleas. I recommend you proceed with Frontline (making specific you get it precise on the exterior of the animal, and which you do no longer bath earlier making use of it) and get your self a suitable domicile spray. it is likewise a reliable theory to regulate to Frontline Plus as a results of fact this does kill eggs and larvae, those on the animal besides. Use Revolution instead. Sometimes they build up immunities to the treatments. I used Frontline for about a year and all of a sudden my cats had fleas again. I switched to Revolution and it worked like a charm. You can get it cheaper at deadfleaz.com on line. Good luck.

Well, it's hard to rid fleas if the animal is outside a lot. We like to line the yard with sulpher. It's a winner. This protects an animal that is on a treatment for fleas, like Frontline from repeats....your yard probably needs treatment. Or if you cat is a wonderer outside, then there may be neighbors with an infestation.

You don't need to, just make sure you're doing the following things:

1) getting the Frontline on the SKIN of the animal, not the fur.
2) TREATING YOUR HOUSE - very important, it's where most of the fleas are living. Get a treatment from a vets.
3) not using any product from a store!!

have you purchased acclaim from the vets to spray the house. to be honest i have lived in a house where the previous owner had cats and we didnt know that fleas had been on them until we turned the heating on and it appears that eggs had been on the skirting boards or under them even though we vaccuumed and because we put the heating on the eggs hatched, anyway to cut a long story short we sprayed with acclaim and no more fleas, it kills any sort of bugs.

Have you made sure to apply it to the skin? If you don't want to spend alot of money incase it dies the next day you should never have had a cat in the first place.Take him to an animal shelter so he can live a happy life,he's better off without you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll need to use a flea comb in addition then. And don't let him run around where there are bugs. You'd have to treat those areas too.

frontline kills flea larva only, talk to the vet about something to kill adult fleas. There are things that aren't expensive.
