I really like R&S but it's getting a bit repetitive and tired, and I tend to see the same people answering very similar questions... I want to ask two questions..

Christians - what do you gain from the same bible quoting routine?... you're giving athiests way to much power over you buy explaining the same BS over and over and over again.. No one is going to convert

Atheists - there's a difference between being anti-christian and an atheist... why on earth do you out of your way to bash the same defense time and time again when you know they aren't backing down?

I usually come on this site during work hours and i'm going to relax with it for a little while, cause not for nothing.... I'm seeing this as kinda pathetic, there are much more productive things to do.... this seems like bullsh!t hobby for both groups

I'm an atheist by the way

problem - do you feel a little better about youself now ? :) cause that's all your comment is going to accomplish, and there's no 'answer I want' nor have I repeatedly asked any one question.

I just spent the weekend in Salt Lake City street preaching to the faithful wanting to go and Hear their "prophet" give new revelation from God.

Ive been going for 4 yrs and get cussed out (by loving people calling themselves christian) threatened with death (so much for keeping the law) and every time i get to talk to 2-3 people truly interested in truth.

I spend my money, my time because i have a compassion for souls.

I have seen Mormons come to know Jesus as their Savior (the Jesus of the bible not their Jesus)

I have seen then study the bible with me and with an open heart understand that God is real and they are following a false way.

Every honest one that has talked to me, not the scoffers sent to argue with us by leadership (if i didn't have truth why are they afraid?) every one has admitted from the bible and Book of Mormon the the church is wrong and their Jesus is right.

Do i get paid? NO it cost thousands for our group to go and we gladly do it to show Gods love

So for the 1000 that pass by me mocking and cussing i get to talk to one. I like the odds and will rejoice seeing them in heaven.

Jesus saves and will send his faithful out to spread the word. If you reject ill go on to the next. there are atheists on here listening and for those that don't well Jesus still died for them too.

That's because God is real and there is undeniable proof. Your own sense of happiness and self worth after administering your life to the one true god. I have experienced God for 5 years now. I have undeniable belief that it was this devotion that saved my life, made me a happy individual, and gave me a perfect life. I'm not bragging, I'm simply stating my fact. The only reason it is considered a belief at all is because I can't prove to you that my life is perfect. But I can say it is. Even though I care deeply about what is going on in the world, and I'm especially worked up and infuriated concerning this years political elections, I can honestly still say that my life is perfect. Before I started to meditate and believe in God I could not say my life was even worth living. Now it's perfect. Coincidence? I think not. Delusions? Certainly not. I was deluded before, now I know the truth. And what is funny is that since people call me a loonie, I KNOW I am right. It is because people doubt me that I gain my faith. Through their doubt I strengthen my own convictions. So I say to all, God exists because it is the perfection within one's mind, the inner soul of your own being, the ultimate eternal reality. I will be waiting for the doubt to come and you can disprove it all you want, but so far none of your claims have stood ground. Circular logic is still the best way of understanding God. The bible is still a powerful religious message centered on delusions of grandeur. My God still exists. Richard Dawkins still is a rational guesser. And above all, the corruption that Christianity inevitably draws in is criticized by the very atheist movement. The will of God has been declared, the atheists punish those who deserve punishment while the true christians continue their contemplation of God. And for all those who feel left out, I emplore you: read a book other than Christianity, be it Buddhism, Hinduism, Upanishads, Baghavad Gita, Boethius, Plotinus, Shankara, Yogananda, Yoga sutras, etc. Then meditate. You'll know what I'm talking about.

I simply answer regardless of what the persons belief is, because I know through these questions I am not looking to convert anyone by any means, I am simply giving answers to certain questions that I know i had before I learned what I learned about God through research and through His Word the Bible, in hopes that the people that are seeking God, get the help that they need in their quest to building a relationship with God through Christ, I answer some atheist questions that I feel may mislead people that are sincerely looking for God. This cycle will be ongoing unfortunately. Take the break you need, this isn't a job, it should be done on spare time when you got nothing else to do.

a true christian does not insist that you believe in god he or she is satisfied with their own belief in god "organized" christian religions want you to convert to keep the donation plates full and perpetuate the church's position of having authority to dictate the nature of belief to individuals. not a far step from being told what to believe to being tol what to do

same could be said for atheists regarding the "bashing"

really, only "fundamentalist viewpoints" (to use a modern term to describe those who insist on belief at any cost) on either side are likely to be aggressively confrontational when asseting the truth of their own beliefs

Why do you ask a million times. You aren't getting the answer you want..??? Why do you engage in "pathetic pass times". Find something you find productive. You are not improving my life with your million questions...Go volunteer some where.
This might shock you..Atheist have NO power over me. I am not going to convert.

i agree, this is just getting boring. i only quote the bible when someone tells me to prove something about Catholicism. and even then i usually paraphrase, not quote.

i find it ironic that when someone points this out, all they get in return is "stop whining"
