Listen, we understand that not all Muslims are terrorists. Unfortunately all terrorists are Muslims. This is unfair, but for matters of national security, necessary.

It is an unfortunate side-effect of our current political situation, and it's not fair. On the other hand, all Americans suffer by being forced to go thru endless security checks at airports, etc. I do think that if more Arab Americans (and all Arabs)more outspoken against Muslim extremists, that would help alot. Non-Muslims get the feeling sometimes that alot of Muslims quietly support radicals like Osama Bin Laden. Just my two cents.

look, americans (for the most part), know that not all muslims are terrorists... but, the terrorism the world is experiencing currently, is originated from fundamentalist Islam.. so you have to understand that we have to be cautious.. i know it's an inconveinence to you.. and we have to be aware of human rights.. but, it's not as though you're being detained in prison or not being allowed into the country at all... just be patient.. and if you realllly want to make a statement and help the process... make your voice heard in denouncing fundamentalist Islam.. not denounce the country who is being singled out for extinction by these wackos...

Sorry muslims and terrorism is highly correlated

At school if a couple of students make noise then the teacher may get tired and ban the summer trip for the entire classroom

Alas! Again the majority must pay for the acts of a minority. Sad that this has to be. The only way out is to purge the minority from within your midst. Especially, if they represent the antithesis of a civilized society.

The mexicans say the same thing. I am so sorry we're not paying high enough taxes to get you all processed in a timely enough manner.

I think your human rights are respected - maybe not as much as in your home country. If this is the case - why leave?

it's perhaps unfair, but that is the way it is since 9/11. If your country had been unprovokedly attacked by Americans crashing planes into your buildings and thousands of innocents died, would you rush to make Americans new citizens of your country? See, it's all in how you look at it--from which side.

Living in the US of A is NOT a "right". It's a privilege, and if your religion was more peaceful as a whole, then you wouldn't have a problem.

You know, you could always convert to another religion and change your name.

Is this unfair? Maybe.

But what do your expect.

The Patriot Act is another step in the US Government's contrived removal of our constitutional rights, even as a US citizen born and bred.

They are arresting and jailing Americans for protesting, legally.

They can claim "terrorism" and hold us for long periods of time without cause or bringing charges.

They can wiretap our phones without a judge's consent.

They conduct "Sneak and Peeks" with no warrant and no explanation if caught.

Most of our rights began eroding with the "war on drugs" that started in the 80s, now with the "war on terrorism" they just continue to fall by the wayside. But what would we expect when we allowed our government to become everything we fought and died for to get away from the British. Taxation has run rampant, the government continues to grow and grow and for the "average" American, life just gets harder and harder.

Really, I wish I had the energy to feel sorry for your situation but I can't. This ain't America anymore.

I wish you the best, but remember the old saying, be careful what you wish for (entry into the states) you just might get it.

Good luck

Quotas. Also, since the terrorists were/are Muslim, extra precautions are in place to avoid letting more into this country. You will just have to wait your turn, and if you pass the process, you will be welcome.
