I was just in Ireland for two weeks, both the Republic and the North and how I would love to live there -- there is no where finer than that country to bring out the best in me. However, I have never been to a more expensive country in my life. My brother and I always stopped by property shops to check out the going rates on the homes -- on several occasions I nearly needed to be lifted off the street from shock. The market is in a huge flux right now -- maybe someday I will be able to afford to live in the country of my parents birth.

It''s your OR part '' that bugs.me. You watch to much of The Simpsons. We are not typically SWILLERS and what is consumed is worked for and paid for. The statistic of expenditure is really a measure of the exorbitant excise and. vat taxes.
NO;, with such a hang up, you would not be happy in Ireland.
Honest sweat is held in high esteem in Ireland : real work brings a real thirst..You would likely be taken as a PIASAUN.

With the price of alcohol these days, it's hardly an alcoholic's paradise.
It is, however, a good place for artists, as the government set up tax exemption for artists of all disciplines, but it is a roundabout way of getting it.
It's not cheap living here, by the way. Plus we have very effective ways of dealing with wisearses who think it's funny to go along with mythical stereotypes and not actually inform themselves about the reality of a place. We simply don't tell them where the party is!

Ireland is very expensive to live, its the 3rd most expensive country within the EU. Of course it is adorable and people do like to drink, a lot, thats no doubt, obviously money is an issue as you wouldnt have asked in the first place, Personally you should seek somewhere different, the UK isnt expensive plus the UK pound is worth a lot, this wud be ur best bet.

i went to eire on holiday this week and stayed in somebody else's domicile. It replaced right into a bungalow ( lease ) it cost 650-750 euros a month. It in all threat relies upon on the place abouts you prefer to stay in eire. I went to Carrick On Shannon. And each and all of the residences look somewhat somewhat superb and expensive. i don't comprehend approximately different places nevertheless. =]

Hubby and I have been there twice and we judged towns by how many churchs and how many pubs. (that was our fun) There are just as many bars in the US as there are Pubs in Ireland and I can't tell you what a fabulous place its. We plan to retire there in about 15 years. The people are the most friendly I've met anywhere. What a great place, go if you get the chance.
