To me it means that how much stuff in life do you need before it is enough for you. That everyone has things in life that are nessecities, and everyone has items that are just for pleasure. Like many people in life have items that they could live without. So when do you have enough wants?

it means do not be greedy
take some and be satisfied
take more and u likely to continue asking for more
