My three female dogs just got spayed two days ago and i brought them home this morning well they all seem very moody and their growling at eachother (i understand why) but the bigger dog keeps bitting at my smallest dog ellie-may . should i just keep them in seperate rooms for awhile?

Yeah, keep them seperate for a while. Even though they all went through the same thing, they have different smells on them from the surgical scrub solution, etc., and it will take a readjustment period. Also, they are probably a little tender and don't feel like messing with one another - give them time!

First of all, kudos on spaying! It may seem touchy for them now, but in the long run you have done them such a huge favor as far as their health is concerned...not to mention helping to reduce canine overpopulation! Rock on....

I would separate them if they are having some issues with each other until they're back to their old selves.

Yeah if they are moody and growling, they just feel a little crappy.. Rather than have them get bugged with one another and all upset, I would separate them somewhat.. Let them all have their own space.. They'll be fine in a day or two.. They probably smell funny to one another too

Yes, keep them separated for a bit. They are getting moody from hormone withdrawals. If you had a hysterectomy and didn't take replacement hormones you would get the same way.

They are drugged and confused and in pain. Keep them separate for a while. I don;t blame them, they just had major surgery and are bound to be a bit tempermental!

i would keep them in seperate rooms until tomorrw and they reintroduce slowly so if htey have problems you can reseperate them

poor babies just try and keep them apart till they feel better!you are the mommy or daddy so do what you feel is best!go with your gut.
