ok so i had this dream that my friend and i were walking through a forest together and then all of a sudden he reached out for my hand(although he just barely crossed his fingers with mine) and then pulled away...then all of a sudden he took my hand and had me hold him arm(i.e. like how the bride holds the grooms arm)and i felt happy from that....then i woke up...
what does this mean???

Walking through a forest together (lost in the woods, or confusion) probably means you aren't sure if the relationship is going anywhere. It sounds as if he makes overtures (reached out to barely touch your hand, or reaching out to you) but then he pulls away. Now, he once again reaches out to you in a big way by holding you close and going arm in arm with you. Of course, if you like this person, it would obviously make you happy if this happened.
So, it sounds as if you like someone a lot but keep getting mixed signals from them and this is causing confusion as to what you should do. My advice is to just go with it and see where it leads, let them make the first moves, but don't sit around waiting for it to happen.

Sounds like he was a bit unsure of how committed he wanted to be to you at first but as you continued on in your journey (life) together he realized he really wanted to be a good friend to you and that made you happy.
If he backs off, give him space and watch him come back.

you had a desire for him that you still couldn't admit even to yourself..or maybe you're just starting to fall for him and as of the moment, you can't afford to lose him because he means so much to you..
