No.
Weapons are not "Yours" but belong to the MOD, no country in the World allows it's soldiers to keep their weapons, the cost to the state would be enormous.

Nope. While a service rifle may be taken out of the armoury and issued to a particular soldier and told that is "his rifle", it is still government property. When those weapons are outdated and no longer of any use to the MoD, the government disposes of them themselves.
Keeping souvenirs from the military is usually not allowed - uneaten ration packs will go straight to the bin before a soldier takes them home. Taking all range produce such as expended brass, the tatty cellophane wrappers for packs of ammunition and the casings for signal flares is technically an offense. What more with firearms?

1. On base probably not, but not very far off base there is likely to be a gun shop 2.) You may buy and own a firearm like any other civilian. You may not carry a gun you purchase while on duty, many states allow open carry without a license and a few allow conceal carry without a license. If you abide by those laws you may carry while off of base without a permit. Bases have their own laws banning the carry of firearms 3. If you have your own house (will only happen if you have a family) you can keep it there, if your living in barracks then you will have to turn it into the arms room, you may take it out at any time though 4. I know the local base has ranges designated for personal use

Who on earth gave you this idea? The Britsh army are still using equipment used in the 50s. If you were allowed to keep your weapon there would be none left!

No, thank goodness, my weapon was a Jaguar bomber aircraft, I couldn't afford the fuel since the last fueltax rise, and it wouldn't fit on the drive

Course they can. The bloke next door just brought home a Centurian tank. Made one hell of a mess of his driveway.
