I personally like the Sobe No Fear best - it typically lasts me about 6 hours with a huge kick :) It has a berry flavor that I find more pleasing than the typical grapefruit flavors that seem too acidic to me. It has a combination of several energy giving items, not just the typical caffeine and sugar for a longer lasting hit.
However, the new 5 Hour Energy drink is getting alot of attention too. This one is a combination of vitamins and minerals typically found in your body to give you energy, not just caffiene like substances. Hence, they claim it doesn't give you the "crash" typically associated with standard energy drinks.
In all cases though, I recommend using energy drinks sparingly and only when necessary. Over use can lead to dehydration, urinary tract problems and even make you more susceptible to kidney infections. None of these are good things. When you do indulge, be sure to back it up with some healthy fruits and vegetables, fruit juices, lots of water and sleep to naturally re-equalize your body.
So ... as in all things .. I recommend moderation and balance. :)

ACT is the very best energy drink because it is actually good for you. It lasts around four hours and has 24 calories, compared to about 80 or more with the junk energy drinks. It tastes fine to me,
I drink it daily, it has a berry flavor. ACT has only five grams of sugar, compared to about 28 grams or so in the junk energy drinks. No caffeine, no crash, no jitters.
If you want to envision how much 28 grams of sugar is, one teaspoon is 4 grams. So.. it is like taking seven teaspoons of sugar and eating them at one time. Not good !
Everyone of my friends likes ACT also.

I really like the Tab energy drink. It tastes like a jolly rancher and it's only 15 calories!

the number one energy drink is " jolt." it is the cheapest and has the most effect. On friday nights, i usually drink one and it keeps me going. Jolt is the best tasting energy drink i have ever tasted. Their is a variety of types like, cola, silver, blueberry, blackcherry, etc. My personal favorite is blueberry because it taste almost exactly like cotton candy.

When it comes to "energy drinks" energy = sugar and/or caffeine. Drink them sparingly.
