evolution is right and you are a mistake that will disapear when you die and you have no purpose. you cause more problems on earth than you help it.
Christianity is right and you believed in God then you go to heaven and have eternal bliss.
one way you are useless and cause harm the other way you have purpose, what do you have to lose.

also i am not catholic so try avoiding the crusades and ww2 was not christian against jew but nazi against jew. witch hunt was catholic against satanist, again not to do with me, also christians are just people like everyone else. we follow God, and those who call themselves good, i tell you now that you are evil because you have sinned at least once in your life time which is a crime punishable by eternal damnation. also, what is pascals wager.

lol. I already have purpose, I exist, thats enough. I'm not going to deceive myself with a fantasy just because the fantasy is comforting.
What do I have to lose? My self respect and my sanity. I'd like to keep those, thanks.
Btw.... the followers of your god have caused more harm on this earth than they have helped it. Don't believe me? Go read a history book, and watch the news.
In the meantime, here's a hint, the Crusades, the witchhunts, the Inquisition, WW2, and Iraq were all started by people who said they were doing gods work and they AREN'T good things. Banning abortion, preventing life saving stem cell research, and preventing gay marriage are also NOT helping and isn't "good" behavior.
Think about it.

if evolution is right and i have helped it in any way, such as human beings being able to communicate through technology and being able to fly in an airplane which is something never thought possible a while back, then i really do not just disappear. i also do not cause more problems. and i help people for the sake of helping people not because im scared that i would burn in hell if i didnt.
what purpose do i have by believing in a flying man in the sky? i do have a lot to lose by the way. because if i just sit around hoping that santa clause will send me gifts then i wouldnt get up and do things that matter. i like to do good in this world because it makes me happy in a way not because your imaginary friend threatened to burn me forever.

What if the god that really exists sends all good people to heaven and all bad people to hell except people who pretended to know for a fact another god existed? then all good atheists are going to heaven but YOU ARE GOING STRAIGHT TO HELL. Why not repent when you still have time? Why risk eternity in hell?
And how can you worship a sadistic god that tortures good people - most of the people who ever lived - for all eternity?
Pascal's wager:
"If god exists, it's infinitely better to believe, since you get heaven instead of hell for eternity. If he doesn't, it doesn't matter since you're dead anyway. So overall it's better to believe"
This is, of course, false.
Some of the problems with the argument:
* The implied assumption that god may exist (with a 50% probability, no less!)
* The assumption that there is an afterlife with a heaven and hell
* The assumption that the god cares about belief in him/her above all else
* The assumption that if you believe in a god, it will definitely be the same god that actually exists.
* The assumption that you lose nothing if it's false. You have lost a great deal, from time praying to a nonexistent entity (some people pray several hours a day!!!) to morality (your god may ask you to hurt other people) and much more besides.
* The assumption that people can believe in something simply because it benefits them. Would you believe goblins exist for twenty bucks? Why not?
* The assumption that any god won't see through the "believing just to get into heaven" ploy.

More americans are killed every year by christian opposition to medical progress than by terrorists.
Let's make a deal: You promise me that nobody ever gets hurt by your religion again, and I'll never discuss it again.
Read Letter to a Christian Nation if you want to understand how harmful your religion is.

So you only believe because you are expecting to be rewarded with a place in heaven? I don't worry about such nonsense. I try to be as good as I can be and put no importance in the idea of god or heaven. If he does exist, he will see that I tried to help humanity in the best way possible even though I didn't care whether he existed or not. As for you, he will see that you might have been good and believed in him, but only because you wanted to get into heaven, or you didn't want to go to hell. Your actions are insincere.

Good grief, not another one who thinks atheists have no purpose in life and are evil. Ask those whom I've helped if they believe I have no purpose.
As for what I have to lose, it would be my integrity.

I could just as easily say....go stick a bobby pin in a light socket....
You might die...but then again if you do....you go to heaven....
You might not die...and if you don't...what do you have to lose? It's a win win situation either way....right????
So...I'll convert when you stick a bobby pin in a light socket. Deal????
