The specific muscle groups that pull-ups will work are the lats and biceps.
However, the very act of hanging by your hands will eventually strengthen the entire shoulder girdle, and stretch the pec muscles. Therefore, you could argue that very indirectly, your pecs will be involved.

Not directly, but indirectly it impacts the pecs through the sides. The front grip pull up is better for this.

Nope. Pull-ups work the upper lats on your back, and your biceps.
In fact, almost all exercises where you pull a weight towards your body works your back and biceps.
Almost all exercises that involve pushing a weight away from your body work the shoulders, triceps and chest.
Get to it and dont forget to drink lots of water

Hi, the answer to your question is no they do not, the muscles which are primarily used performing pull-ups are the back muscles, or more technically called 'lattisimus dorsi', or abreviated to 'lats' in short. This exercise is particuarly effective at helping to broaden the back.
