Black tea, Ceylon or Assam preferred, with milk.
Then again, I've recently discovered that boiled gingerroot (strain out the gingerroot and keep the liquid) is lovely with milk and a little honey thrown in. The ginger has enough of a 'bite' to keep it from being cloyingly sweet. It's a surprisingly good hot drink.
