I have responsibilities and I can't just let things and people down because I'm going to die.

I guess maybe the month before I die, I'd say my goodbyes and spend a month's time with my husband in the end. As for the beginning of my death-year, I'd do the best I can to finish off projects, or other duties that I have in my life so that no one is left with a heavy load of work that I started.

I'd prepare for the after-life, which would involve getting more religious and in-touch with the Lord.

Some people would want to do all sorts of crazy things on their last year alive, but those "crazy" things are typically sinful--they could burn in Hell.

One thing: I'd go home. I've been living in another country for almost three years, and haven't even gone home for a visit.

I would not worry about some of the ridiculous things that I can get preoccupied with on a daily basis and enjoy my family and friends.

Sure.....I'd concentrate 100% on being with family and friends....and just enjoying myself.

I'd forget all my responsiblities.
