Your body is fighting off an infection. The Tylenol is working, but going to school with a fever, however small, is not a good idea - for one thing you are infecting others and for another your concentration levels will be low.
Take care of yourself, get some rest. Chicken soup does wonders even for just a fever, as the other vitamins from the vegetables in it help restore vitamins being depleted while you are sick. Drink plenty of water, and have some glasses of fruit juice at meals for more vitamins. Take more Tylenol every six to eight hours if it's working best, but after day 3 of straight Tylenol go see your doctor. Get as much sleep as you can, and heal as much as you can.
If your fever gets to be above 103.0, go see a doctor to make sure it's not a symptom of something worse.

There's really no way to know if this was a 24-hour thing. The Tylenol interfered with that. 101.5 isn't a high fever, it's a low grade fever but feels uncomfortable all the same. I would suggest you stay home today. You should maintain a normal temp (anywhere from 97.6 to 99.6) for 24 hours before returning to your usual activities.

Amy ~ needing to wee every 30 minutes and all night every hour and having to strain, all sounds like a possible UTI ~ possibly even in the kidney, not the bladder. (you may want to see if you have a low grade fever too) In an adult: low grade temperatures 99.6 - 1015.F that hangs on or keeps coming back is sign of a bacterial infection. 102 F and up is sign of a virus. So while the higher temp makes you feel worse, it is usually less concerning than a low grade fever that hangs on. Keep up the water and you can add cranberry capsules that will add acid without all the calories and sugar from juice. But before adding anything, see your health care professional for a urine test. Either bacteria from an infection or possibly sugar from gestational diabetes can be ruled out. Having a Kidney infection can cause premature labor (or even miscarriage in early pregnancy). Nothing to take a chance with. In the last 4 to 6 weeks before birth, you will probably have to get up more frequently to wee at night. Part of our incredible body training us to sleep better in short spurts and getting us used to being up a lot at night, before the baby even arrives! Due to hormones and less room with a 7 lb baby head ~ in the last weeks actually most women don't have to strain and even keep their fingers crossed they get to the toilet in time! Good Luck with your precious new bundle!

You did not need tylenol for a fever. The fever is your bodies way of fighting off what is wrong so you should not lower it unless it is really high. Not sure what is wrong but it sounds like a 24 hour bug of some sort.

this happens to me at the "change of weather", or just a "bug introducing itself" in the area..climate shift....(body goes through changes too) sounds like time to wash the "door handles, and other things with disinfectant and mirrors, etc. and start taking vit."C"(won't hurt) and get ready for winter...i start out at about 1500mlg. of "C" per day....when things are at there worst, and 500, on an average....You take care!
