You can't, there is no such thing. There is, however, runt chihuahua's which you would be buying if you were to get a "teacup."

Sorry.. This is the dog section.. NOT the joke section..

No such thing as a good breeder of a teacup chihuahua.. I guess you could look in the newspaper under backyard breeder or puppymill.. Don't bother with the kennel clubs.. Cause no reputable responsible breeder would breed for size alone.. Don't forget pet health insurance.. You'll need it for all those vet bills!

Teacup Chihuahua is NOT a breed. What the breeders do is, they breed the runts of the litter to get a tinier version. This version is so tiny that it tends to have alot of health problems. I agree with all the previous answers--there is no good breeders because if there were, they would have automatically fixed the runts of the litters because it doesn't match the AKC standards.

No such thing as a "teacup" anything. I would RUN from a breeder that advertises "teacup". They are usually the sickly , small, runts that they are advertising as "teacups" Or they are breeding runt to runt. NO responsible breeder would ever advertise as such or ever try to breed one. There are AKC standards for chihuahuas and for anybody to try to breed outside that standard is totally irreponsible.

The only reason to breed is for the betterment of the breed. Obviously to breed outside the breed standard is just to lure you poor ignorant people into paying big money for their sub-standard dogs that they breed for a regular cash crop.

Do NOT ever buy a dog from a petstore, NOT EVER. Please go to this link and see exactly where that petstore puppy came from. Please don't think your "saving" that puppy because another will just take it's place and the cycle will continue.

I looked at http://www.preciouspuppies.net -- HUGE puppymiller. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM or anybody over the internet.

Jessica, you have got A LOT to learn. The person who is breeding puppies as a cash crop around the corner from you is nothing but a backyard breeder. The ONLY reason to breed is for the betterment of the breed which she could care less about along with your Amish who treat their animals as a cash crop also.

There are millions of dogs being put down every year because there are too many dogs and not enough homes. Yet these backyard breeders continue to add to the cycle.

Anyone who deliberatly breeds a mixed breed knowing that there are so many in shelters being killed because there are not enough homes, deserves to be put down. The dogs that person is reproducing are most likely going to wind up in shelters along with their offspring.

Try googling amish auctions, amish puppymills, or just go to www.stoppuppymils.com

Jessica C- South Central PA is PUPPYMILL CENTRAL PA!!! Only an irresponsible money-grubbing con man, 'religious' or not, would make such an unhealthy dog to rip off the public with.

Why do you want the smallest dog you can find? Is 5 lbs really too big for you? Do you live in the bathroom and space is at a premium? Go get a normal-sized healthy Chi. They are everywhere- do your homework and find a GOOD breeder who shows Chi's and for LESS than you would pay to a puppy mill or BYB you will get an excellent quality, healthy dog.

there are absolutely no good breeders of teacup chis as it's just another word for usaully the unhealthy runts that don't live past 5-7 years.
Chi standard is any one not to exceed 6 pounds.
where are you located

No good breeder would ever breed a "teacup" anything.

Speak to the breed clubs. Details should be available from your country's Kennel Club.

I would be ashamed to admit that I bought a puppy from a pet store knowing that it was from a puppy mill. It is ignorant twerps who do this that keep those fools in business. Puppy mills breed nothing but misery. Maybe someone should lock up humans like that for awhile so the igorant can eventually dial a clue.
SAY NO TO PET STORE PUPPIES
SAY NO TO PUPPY MILLS
OPT TO ADOPT
PUPPY MILLS BREED NOTHING BUT MISERY

Check out this website, (http://www.preciouspuppies.net/) they *are* in Plantation, Florida ...but if you want a really healthy, happy doggie... then it's worth the trip. I'd recommend you fly there and pick one out and fly it back with you... or if you're close then drive... also check out your local pet-shops... i've gotten 2 dogs from pet shops (and yes, they were from puppy mills) & 1 from a breeder... and my 2 from the pet shops had less diseases and were healthier there 1st year of life.

For a teacup/miniature chi you're going to be looking at something upwards of $1300... for a really cute one... however, when they are smaller their longetivity of life is cut shorter... i'd just go and look for the cutest one locally, you will grow to love them just as much!

There is a lady that breeds her chihuahua's right around the corner from my house. She's got pups for sale now. And there's a menenite (I think that's hat they are) family that breeds them and daschunds, and those mixed pups like Shi-poos and such. We're in south central PA.
