Hello everyone,
I am on the search for the cheapest airfare possible from one of these three places. I don't care where we go, just as long as we fly somewhere. My mom has NEVER flown before and she is almost 50. She just wants to fly somewhere. I don't know what locations we might try to get really inexpensive airfare from one of these airports.

Thanks for your help!!

I wasn't planning on going between airports...we do want to go somewhere farther out and make a weekend of it!

Lexington to Little Rock or Charlotte $179: http://www.farecompare.com/maps/compareDestinations.html?departure=LEX
Cincinnati to Ft. Myers $119: http://www.farecompare.com/maps/compareDestinations.html?departure=CVG
Louisville to Oklahoma City $136: http://www.farecompare.com/maps/compareDestinations.html?departure=SDF
You can easily see other cities and the cheapest published fares when you click on any of these links I made for you. Of these, I'd probably choose Ft. Myers or Chicago--but that's just me!

Any "hop" between those airports will cost you around $500 per person!!! If you go to some place further out, such as Philly or DC, and/or plan further in advance, such as February (i.e., avoid the T'giving and Xmas rushes!), it will cost less. Heck, you may as well make a weekend of it! Try to leave on a Thursday and return on Sunday.

Go to any travel website, and enter a day at least one week from now, for two travelers (assuming you're going with her), going between any of those airports (except Lexington and Louisville, which are only about 75 miles apart), and returning on the same day.

To save you some time, the airport "codes" for the airports you listed are "LEX", "SDF", and "CVG", respectively. Also, try "IND" (Indianapolis, IN) and "DAY" (Dayton, OH).

Not that I have anything against wasting fuel for pointless, pleasure trips, but at the risk of being a "spoil sport", after going through the post 9/11 security, and potential delays, (I assume you won't be taking any luggage!), your Mom may find that she has lived just fine without flying, and can live the rest of her life just fine without it! To quote an old World War II adage, "Is this trip really necessary?" ;)

Go from Louisville to Chicago on Southwest Airlines. It will cost you a little over $100 per ticket. Plus you get to spend a weekend in a really cool city.

Try looking at www.kayak.com They check all the airline's sites, plus cheaptickets, expedia, travelocity, priceline, etc. They are the most comprehensive travel site that I have used.
