Umbrella Answer No. 1574:

"God made us all like that"

Period.

ACHTUNG: This answer may also be used whenever any screwball question is thrown to you by a cruel unbeliever.

Posting unreadably-long strand of scripture is optional, yet encouraged, on a 'the-more - the-merrier' basis.

I'm not a scientist, and I dropped out of college, so maybe I don't qualify. But I can give it a shot. Mechanism - Genetic mutations in the DNA(?) cause a benefitial mutation which enables the mutatee(?) to survive better, and reproduce more offspring with the same trait(?). Evidence - Oh that's a tough one. I'll pass. Lol! Natural Selection - I think I explained it in the mechanism. I'll try to get some bonus points by saying it all looks good on paper, and even in the lab. Mathematically it makes sense, however there are some problems with it. And that is where the problem with the evidence comes in. It's a good idea, but the evidence is faulty, or lacking. Why I reject it? I asked the question. What makes a fossil a fossil? I noticed that animals even buried under ground will decay. So that poses a problem. So the causes of fossils are, tree sap, tar pits, volcanic ash, and floods. Floods? That sounds familiar. Look in Genesis. A global flood. So what are these layers of strata that the fossils are found in? They are layers of sand, sometimes finely filtered into different size grains in an organized manner. So further research shows the layers are the result of flood deposits not millions of years of sediment. Other research shows all kinds of problems with a billions of years old earth. Since we can't go back in time, and the fossils are the result of floods, which could have happened over thousands of years and probably not over millions, then the Bible is looking to be good. With all the other Bible propecy that is true, then I see that the Genesis account is also literal. So a six day creation is probably how it happened. Is it scientific? Not necessarily. Since I can't go back in time, and I can't dedicate my life to studying fossils etc. I can draw some conclusions that the Bible is accurate based on the credibility on the rest of the Bible. We can't proove that the Earth is 6000 years old easily, but the evidence shows that at least the strata layers are not deposited over millions of years.

How did evolution make them this way? Where did they come from to begin with? I don't believe in the creationism they are trying to get into schools because it actually incorporates some of the theory of evolution. I believe that God Created all things for a purpose, we as humans don't have the capacity to understand that, that is where my Faith comes in. I could never explain that to you to satisfy your need for evidence even though you have no evidence to back your THEORY up any more than I can show you God. Have a nice day and just agree to disagree with the creationists, you'll have a better day.

Gee ok here we go

pre flood:antedeluvian world

concentrations of oxygen and co2 are much higher resulting in giant animals, such as the giant wombat which is 4 times bigger, giant insects with 50 inch wingspans Ginat spiders with bodies more than a foot long and leg spans up to 3ft (megarachne servani)

Giant great white sharks such as Charcharicadon megalodon

rather than exisiting milions oy years, these giants existed in the pre flood era

the extra oxygen asnd co2 wss possible because there was a third layer between the sky and space
this is called the firmament

The firmament not only acted liek a giant greenhouse
yes the temperature was hotter back then and climate change due to co2 is another lie,
but also the firmament shut out a lot of the suns rays

What is it that ages you?

scientist agred about 28 years it was actually free radicals

90% of which come from uv rays

the firmament cut out a lot of uv rays allwoing things to live longer and grow bigger

it's not just dinosaurs that were big, but wombats and everything else

In Geneisis the bible says that men were libving up to 900 years before the flood

but because of the sinful nephilim God cut ldown the lifespan of man, and broguht down the firmament and cuased the fopuntains of the deep to burst, i.e. a lot of water erupted from the tectonic fault lines, and a lot rained down from the firmament.;

Generations after man scattered

the sons of noah split, ham founded the african nations
Semi founded the semites who were asian
and Jerophite founded the Europeans

Noah knew his sons, so phrases like and Jerophite wil take from Ham, are possible indications of the slavery which was gonig to happen thousands of years later

with no firmament to filter the UV, mass mutations begin to happen, and genes for varying colour are now expressed

Stay blessed in Christ

well for one adam and eve were not a race in the bible their were no races mentioned until Noah's son's and thats when the races started and then their s the tower of babel, but some say that was all about the tongues and not races, there is also the belief that we all come from one man in and one women in evolution so I have to laugh when they mention that in BIO 142, because that would mean that all the differant colors were already in adams and eves genes and they slowily just showed themselves in differant children over a period of time, since evolitonist (as I call them) think the earth is so old, it would take a long, so thats a long time for the color genes to express themsleves in all the different generations.

You are confusing macro-evolution and micro-evolution. Micro-evolution is accepted by creationists as a fact. God created 'kinds' men, horses, cats, dogs, but all these kinds have subgroups and variations according to their environment and Gods creative will. God loves variety just like us. What we don't believe is microbe to man evolution or one species giving rise to another by mutation or other evolutionary leap. This has never been proven.

That would be due to original placement of man in conjuntion with the equator. The closer you get the richer the skin color becomes. What happens to the white skin after being exposed to intense sun?

Adaptation is not to be confused with evolution. For instance, the Gypsy moth changed from mostly light to very dark in the industrial revolution in England. Yet, when pollutants were removed, the moth changed from very dark back to mostly light.

They adapted to their environment. That is what man did. They have adapted to their environment. But, they have not evolved. If they had evolved, then there would not be interracial reproduction.

So, man is still man.

Adaptation is not the same as "evolution out of nothing".
When my family lived in Arizona, my mom was as dark as an African. Now she's as white as the queen of England.

Oh, Freddy. How DID the zebra get its stripes???? Focus: G-d created people with protection (witness the ozone layer that protects us from being fried by Sun's UV rays (for another few years at least)).

Why is it so hard to accept a G-d so loving he would help people survive in the varied climates of his beautiful world?

Oh, I know...the Adam and Eve parable is your springboard. Open you mind to the truth in the meaning, please.
