I had the worst dream of all that a friend of mine died. I mean she has discussed with me how she has this rare disablity wrong with her and something to the affect that some people who have this disablity when they are born don't live.

I'm convinced that most dreams are just mental rubbish - the little things you worry about during the day pop up again.

Please don't worry about your friend. I had a dream about Count Chocula playing guitar in my bedroom once and it never happened.

Oh, and go hug your friend today. She'll appreciate it.

When you dream of someone it rarely literally refers to that actual person, but represent aspects of yourself that may remind you of that person. The fact that it was your best friend represents things within yourself that your care about deeply. The fact that she was dying doesn't mean actual death, it means that you are giving up some things that you dealt with in the past and are moving on to a more secure or mature phase, something like the scripture that says "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things". The ideas or attitudes that you will look back on fondly are represented by your best friend who is dying, but that you are giving up now for more mature attitudes.. The "disabilities" are the things that limited you when you were less mature that you are able to deal with now.

I've had dreams like that before and they are just horrible to deal with!! Nothing has ever came true or even similar to it!! I believe that it's just your minds way of dealing with the possible loss of your friend from what you she told you!!

dreams of death very rarely have anything to do with death itself. they are often dreams of rebirth or a change in your life. it could also be that you're just worried for your friend since you found out about her potentially fatal disorder.
