Only if you feel that its true on the flip sides. Keep in mind that you arent really asking if people should read up on it. You are asking if people should read up on the pro side of the topic before criticizing it. They have read up on it, just not the stuff you feel they should.
So consider these questions:
Should people read up on evolution before praising it?
Or is it ok for them to preach it because they are told so?
And should people read up on a religion before criticizing it?
Or is it ok to have only read and quote the anti sites?
Is it ok to be criticizing a religion based on "they are told so"?
I dont blame the religious people for being unscientific in their methods nearly as much as I blame the "scientific" posters for being unscientific in their posts.

Absolutely! People should investigate Creationist claims objectively as well. It is a good thing to learn all that you can. For instance, take the claim that Niagara Falls proves that the world is substantially younger than 13 or so billion years. If you don't research the facts, it seems like a reasonable claim. On the other hand a quick study of geology (and a bit of common sense or logic) will show that dating Niagara Falls would only show how long it has been in existence, and that it has not been around for the entirety of the world's.
Edit:
Given the "actual truth content" of "Dr Dino's" creationist site, he should be in jail for fabrication and liable (misquoting) rather than tax evasion. Every Creationist site and book I've reviewed has proven to be so full of intentionally misleading quotes, and fabricated facts that they should be labeled as lies.

Yes. People should know the information on any topic before forming any kind of opinion. It's only common sense.

Don't you think that would kind of ruin things for them? All that knowledge and stuff?
Best let them be. This section wouldn't be as entertaining if there was an actual discussion about evolution theory involving an educated discourse of ideas.

For a religious minded person, it seems there is no need to read. I bet there are many who haven't even read the Bible or Koran here claiming all sorts of things in the name of their religion.

It would make life so much more pleasant if people read about things.
We would be able to tell the difference between "no' and "know" for example.

I don't think so, no. They already know they're wrong. Their problem is not usually a lack of knowledge but an unwillingness to accept that evolution is responsible for our being here.
Evolution removes one of the larger of the gaps (in our knowledge and understanding of the world we live in) in which gods live. The problem is their crisis of faith, not their lack of reading.
Them reading up on it won't help in the same way that rational people explaining it to them doesn't help - their minds are closed. That is what faith does to people.
