The heading is "Israel may OK division of Jerusalem." The Palestinians do not want a nation of Palestine and they do not want statehood. And they definitely do not want peace with Israel. It is East Jerusalem and the Lord is coming through that eastern gate. Prophecy continually unfolds.

What's weird is when you grow up in church and the Pastor preach of the thing to come in the end times. You think to yourself: not in my lifetime. Then all of a sudden your an adult and your watching them unfold right before your eyes. I get chill's everytime I talk about it.

Jesus in the Bible spoke of a generation that would not pass before all things are fulfilled that usher in the End of this Age. They are the Last Generation. Are we them?
With the restoration of Israel on May 14, 1948, God started the prophetic watch again. When the six-pointed Star of David ascended for the first time over the newly established nation of Israel, the countdown to the end of the present age began.
Matthew 24:32-35
Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Matthew 24:32-35 In the parable of the fig tree we are commanded to learn about the general time right before return of Jesus Christ. We are the generation that has seen and witnessed the rebirth of Israel.

How long is a generation?

We are told, in Matthew, that there are 14 generations between Abraham and David, between David and captivity to Babylon, and between Babylon and Christ. This equals 42 generations between Abraham and Christ. It is suggested that there are about 2,160 years between Abraham and Christ. 2,160 divided by 42 equals 51.4 years per generation.

Other speculations about the length of a generation include 70 years, 100 years or even 40 years because that is how long the Israelites wandered in the wilderness. Some say the “final generation” began when Israel became a nation. Others contend that, while Israel becoming a nation was extremely important, it wasn’t until 1967, when it reclaimed Jerusalem, that it could be considered to have “bloomed.” It is clear that we cannot know for sure the timing of the Lord’s return. But it is obvious that we are close--close enough to count the days!

Plug into the God channel on a Sunday morning (766 i think.. it's called TBN anyway..) and you'll hear Pastor John Hagee preach on Israel and the end times.. it's scary but at the same time it's comforting to know we're gonna be with the King soon.. isn't it thrilling to think when that time comes we're actually going to be able to walk and talk with Moses..and Daniel.. and Joseph :) tehe

Anyway it's been on the news for so long about Israel.. I think us christians have kinda took it for granted in a way.. but it's just gonna get worse..and worse.. fortunetly we won't be there to see the worst of it.. but that's why us christians need to put our act together and start being and doing what God wants us to do! (including sharing the Gospel!)

- because those we love to bits are gonna be left behind.

God Bless.
