this guy said that the reason no one can find the missing link is because they is no one missing link. there are many. he talked about that for a while then he started talking about the different types of people he said that we all have a different ancestor like white people evolved from chimps, black people evolved from gorillas, chinese evolved from gibbons and so on. has anybody else heard of this? and do you believe it?

As a layman I have to say that no-one has any evidence for this idea.
In short you are talking rubbish and may even be bordering on racist ranting.

No, that is a complete misunderstanding and ignorance to evolution. And no part of evolution says any humans evolved from chimps, gorillas, gibbons, or any other modern species. We share a common ancestor.

There are, in fact, many "missing links" that have been found. There are many species that are in between human and monkeys/chimps/apes, and they have been found. But they show that all humans evolved from the same previous species. There is a hypothesis that says Europeans might have had Neanderthal ancestors, as opposed to only homo erectus (like other parts of the world) but there isn't a lot of evidence for this.

No- that's not what the theory states. Its a pretty dumb hypothesis at that... huh.

The gorillas, chimps, and gibbons, and orangutans, etc- evolved from a similar ancestor to us- we didn't evolve from present day apes.

Also- when you hear the term "transitional fossil" this is usually a tell tale sign of a person who doesn't know what they're talking about.

Absolutely untrue! The evolution of the species is so unique with the characteristics of one particular animal only and any amount of talk to deviate this track will be rejected outright by the scientific community, around the world!

There are thousands of evidences by fossils coupled with genetics have proven database to substantiate the true evolution of one specified spice group only to take the shape of an ape man resembling the current day CHIMPANZEE and we do not have a second opinion on this!

In fact the color of human skin, say the black can turn into white in just few hundred years of living in different climatic zone is fully true and we cannot assume the origin of human from different species as your friend says, which is totally absurd!

the reason there are different races is because the ancestors of people spread out in different areas and developed to fit what would help them survive there, not because they evolved from gibbons or anything. Besides, people didn't evolve from monkeys or so. Never heard of this before.

Evolutionists agree that we and modern apes share a common ancestor NOT that that ancestor was an ape.

I do not agree with evolutionists. I believe I was created by God in His image.

Besides if we are all the product of random chance then our very thoughts are random and do not neccessarily mean anything. So, as an evolutionist I could believe that I was the product of a peanut butter sandwich colliding with a comet and it would have just the same import.

I've never heard of it before, and I wish I hadn't heard of it now. Do I believe it? No! No present day primate will give birth to a human being. A chimpanzee may well give birth to a new and different chimp, but not to a human of any race.

The missing link is a religious invention because they believe in a linear way. Evolution works in ramifications.

Where's the missing link between a house cat, a lion or a cougar ?

That is about as retarded as saying the Sicilians are blacks because the Moors conquered Sicily.
Still all and all if we evolved from monkeys,White ,Blackor Chinese, there still would have to be a transitional fossil from monkey to man .There isn't even one close. Not even Leakey's "Lucy" can qualify.

I've never heard of it, but it's blatantly false. If we had convergently evolved from all those different species, we would expect to see more genetic variation between people of different "races."
