My cats are both 6 months old. Over the last week or so their poo's have been runnier (although I wouldn't call it diohreah, however you spell it). Over the last few days I have been finding bit of poo outside the litter tray that I have to clean up. Also, they don't seem to be cleaning their bottoms properly and they are a bit red. Is there anything wrong with them, should I take them to the vet? Ps They were lasted wormed about 2 months ago, maybe less.

Yes, please call the vet. It could be that they are still infected with worms. They can be hard to get rid of. Have you changed their food, I know that can sometimes do it. But still call your vet.

If you have made a sudden change in their diet, it can cause upsets in their digestive system. It may be that they are doing their best to reach the litter box, but don't quite make it.

If they are inside only cats, and were de-wormed, normally they are checked 30 days after treatment, and then again 6 months just to make sure all the worms have been eliminated. sometimes one treatment is not enough.

If they go outside, they can get reinfected by catching a critter.

They've propbely picked something up from somewhere. I would give them a good wash and then see the vet to be on the safe side. My cat had the same thing, And the vet gave them some pills. Hope this helps :)

De-worm them again and feed them boiled chicken for a few days, or intestinal formula. If the problem stops, introduce regular food gradually. If the problem reappears, try another type of food. If the problem doesn't stop within 2 days with the boiled chicken, or if they have any other symptoms, such as vomit, anorexia, etc., go to the vet immediately.

Something is wrong with your cats. Now I don't know what, but this is NOT normal for any animals. Diarrhea can be deadly so don't mess around for long. Call you vet.

stomach issues are nasty....... stress can cause this as well as food issues. Talk to your vet first for some advice. best of luck...

Are they spayed/neutered? Could they be in heat? That would be my guess.
