Evolution - where evolutionists are not able to explain how the planet got here, how come the planet is the "Goldilocks" planet (not too cold, not too hot, but JUUUSST right for goo to come together, spontaneously come to life and defy physics, biology and the willing suspension of disbelief as it morphs into human beings without a shred of evidence).

But it gets better than that: Where there are missing links (billlions of them), we can just ASSUME that a whale turns into a bear or a bear turns into a whale to fill in the gaps.

And when we find soft tissues in trex bones, we will not call them a fossil or be able to explain how they last 65Million years.

Never mind that Gypsy moths are still Gypsy moths, we know that from a single chemical goo (where did the chemicals come from? Evolutionists do not know or refuse to answer), we emerge.

The systems of the body must work together to insure life. Could this be mere coincidence?

Symbiosis is when two completely different species works together for their mutual survival. Migration is when animals move to a different area at the same time every year to avoid harsh weather but always return to their original origins. “They prepare for this journey with incredible thoroughness and they complete it with impeccable precision. Many do it without ever having been to the other home before.” “Science is relatively silent on these issues.”

Many animals fatten up for the winter and then go to sleep or hibernate. “The preparation that goes into hibernating is enormous. It cannot have evolved one step at a time in different species. Instinctively, they know what to eat, how to find it, how much to store, when there’s enough socked away and when it’s time to pull the sheets up again. Their anatomy and physiology are geared for these kinds of complex life changes.”

“Most animals and plants have an incredible array of adaptive skills. Those who cannot adapt have moved on to better pastures or died off. Thousands of species have come and gone and the reasons for most are not clear.” Some animals are capable of camouflage; some can regulate their temperature. Can this be coincidence?

“Billions of Missing Links” by Geoffrey Simmons is a fascinating book. He challenges readers with the question “Are we a coincidence?” At this point, I will humbly admit that I am a creationist. I believe in the Divine Design. Dr. Simmons explains that there are three different ways of looking at this issue. Dr. Simmons successfully challenges readers to look closely at Intelligent Design. I found this book written simply enough that even a layperson could understand it. Dr. Geoffrey Simmons “has studied the human body and evolutionary theory for more than 40 years.” I highly recommend this book.

Since there are already so many crackpot theories with no evidence being taught in school, I honestly don't see the difference. What I would like kids to know is that, whether you believe in evolution or whether you believe in Crationsim, the important thing to realie is that NOBODY really knows just where and when the Universe came to be, let alone how or why this particular planet sustains life as we know it, or how many other planets there may be in the universe that sustain life, or how that life came to be as we know it today. Why teach ANY of these theories as facts, when the plain truth is that NOBODY knows? What is so wrong with telling our kids, honestly, that NOBODY knows? Is it fear that they will abandon science, if they know the truth? Is it fear that they may decide that those who are so sure (on EITHER side of this stupid debate) are idiots, and go on to make their own decision? Just exactly what IS the problem, here?
The thing is, this debate is not really science vs God...that is just a blind some imbeciles set up, in order to discredit "the other side". God and science co-existed very well, up until some ****** made a big deal about it. The argument is actually between egotistical theologians who are convinced that they know everything, and big headed scientists who are completely sure that it is they who know everything. The real truth is that NEITHER side actually knows a heck of alot anyhow. Science has barely scratched the surface. We don't even know all that is on THIS planet, and when it comes to the rest of the universe, we don't have a clue. What may or may not be outside of this universe, science will NEVER EVER be able to fathom.
God has absolutely no problem with science. After all, He invented it in the first place.

Creationism and Evolution should be held with the same regard, or actually, Creationism should be held with a bit more regard than Evolution because it is a theory of intelligence and purpose. Evolution rules out everything to do with intelligence, someone or something creating life, and purpose, that someone or something creating life with a goal in mind, leaving Evolution to be based on chance. As life forms are fr more complex than say an airplane or a computer...well, it is safe to say that a theory invoking chance is actually less credible than one invoking purpose and design. It is easy enough to find books and sites that explain the many holes you can find in evolution. Within a species evolution is not entirely false though; it can be proven that natural selection works. It HAS been proven, and it can be considered common sense. It is not proof however, or supported by overwhelming evidence, that single cell life forms, through chance and natural selection, can become more complex, and it is not proof that a lizard can overtime develop wings and become a bird, an entirely different species all together. They can change but no become something new. I suggest you read the first link in my sources, if you are interested in the topic of Evolution vs. Creationism. It's a fair amount of text but it is very interesting and insightful. Your question begs the answer and sets you up as the judge of all truth. How much of the worlds knowledge do you think you have attained? There are many things that are now open for discussion that were not until the internet.
I think in reality we could discuss many new things about creation and the fact that there might be other people in space who have helped set up our civilization etc. Until we broaden the picture of evidences that is out there we are making education out of date and obsolete.
Get a grip on your own knowledge and wisdom. True wisdom comes in humble packages.

Most Christians I know don't want biblical creationism taught in science classes. What we want is for molecules-to-man evolution to be taught with all its warts (they are not even allowed to present evidence that would put evolution in a poor light). And we want intelligent design to at least to be presented. Unlike leprechauns and unicorns, etc., a significant percentage of the population believes in ID.

So many people these days are confusing biblical creationism with intelligent design. "Intelligent Design is the study of patterns in nature that are best explained as the result of intelligence" (Dr. William Dembski). That's it; it says nothing of who the creator is and how he/she/it/they did it. Intelligent Design encompasses every "creation" story, even aliens seeding life on this planet.

Now, is design a valid argument? Well, we detect design all the time. If you find an arrowhead on a deserted island, you assume it was made by someone, even if you can’t see the designer. We can tell the difference between a message written in the sand and the results of the wind and waves on the sand. The carved heads of the presidents on Mt. Rushmore are clearly different from erosional features.

The thing is, reliable methods for detecting design exist and are employed in forensics, archeology, and data fraud analysis. These methods can easily be employed to detect design in biological systems.

When being interviewed by Tavis Smiley, Dr. Stephen Meyer said, “There are developments in some technical fields, complexity and information sciences, that actually enable us to distinguish the results of intelligence as a cause from natural processes. When we run those modes of analysis on the information in DNA, they kick out the answer, ‘Yeah, this was intelligently designed’ . . . There is actually a science of design detection and when you analyze life through the filters of that science, it shows that life was intelligently designed.”

What about teaching it in school? I'm sorry, but I have to agree with George W. Bush: "Both sides ought to be properly taught . . . so people can understand what the debate is about . . . Part of education is to expose people to different schools of thought . . . You're asking me whether or not people ought to be exposed to different ideas, the answer is yes.”

Good science teaching should include controversies.

Uh...where is the evidence behind the THEORY of evolution? I don't care what they teach in school. The parents should be teaching their children as well, if you rely on school and Sunday school to teach your children, you might as well give them up for adoption, as you have no real relationship with them anyway. Parents need to get the hint that they are responsible for their children and how to handle what the schools force down their throats.

It's not necessary to present these as facts or anything. We should just teach the controversy, and let the kids make up their own mind between the FSM, Yahweh or Reality.
