You can and should use logic to arrive at a belief in His existence. The problem we have is that the true character of God has been completely perverted by Christianity to such a point that no one with half a brain could believe in it. You need to divorce yourself from modern teachings and attempt to find the truth for yourself.

Your question is based on the assumption that we can't use logic to know that God exists. But we can use logic.
Science tells us that an object cannot come into existence by itself, there must always be a cause.
Science tells us that an object cannot be put into motion by itself, there must always be a force putting it into motion.
We can trace the existence and motion of everything back to the Big Bang. But science cannot explain where the material of the universe came from, and what caused the Bang. It is not a question of "science will explain it some day," because any answer would be contrary to science.
Therefore, logic tells us that there must be a God, a creator and mover outside of our laws of science.
But most people are not religious because of logic. They have faith. The Bible indicates that God wants us to believe and trust in him because of our faith. Maybe because faith comes out of our free will, and God wants us to use our free will. Logic is a kind of proof; proof takes away our free will to believe or not to believe. God could appear to everyone in the world, but that kind of evidence would, to some extent, force them to believe. (Although there are some people who would not believe anyway. They would probably say that the Vatican created the image of God with holograms.)
May God bless you all.

Your answerers are missing the obvious - God did not invent human logic, humans did. And within that category, you can access Aristotelian logic, Cartesian logic, etc etc and they will give you different answers. All that said....
In physics we allow logic to assert the existence of particles smaller than an atom despite the fact that we cannot see them through any microscope. We know they are there because we can observe the effects they have on other, larger particles. And we allow that to be called logical thinking.
Yet a religious person who observes the changes in their lives and the effects that faith has on others' lives and concludes there must be something more is called illogical. That inconsistency is itself a logical fallacy that moderna nd postmodern people perpetuate for reasons unknown to me. But I tend to think God has a sense of humor about it all, something we rarely, if ever, allow for!

Logic falls flat.
Can you use human logic to arrive at the conclusion that love exists? You could just as well arrive at the conclusion that it does not exists - that it is just camoflage of DNA procreation programming.
Only if you experience love do you know it exists and understand its nature.
Only if you experience God do you know God exists and understand God's nature.

Oh, okay, I get it now. I like how I got a thumbs down for asking for clarification. Nice.
I think the answer will usually be the same, and I know that there are certain "stock answers" that atheists don't like hearing. This is probably one of them.
If one believes in the finite and the infinite, then from that flows the idea that the finite mind will never be able to fully grasp the infinite mind.
Of course that doesn't mean the finite can't know the infinite to some extent. Christians claim to believe in God, they arrived there somehow.

God never arrived at His existence. He is the I AM. He has always been, is, and always will be.
The only human rationality that is just and true is derived from God. All that is good comes from God. God is the author of true, just rationality. Humans who create their own rationality based on poor assumptions are skewed with God. Their results will be disproved.
Yours in Christ Jesus

God does not have to justify his existence to us, but he did give us many proofs of his existence. Just one example - The bible is the single most amazing book in history it is unlike any other religious text. It was written over a 1600 year period, by 40 authors, in 3 languages over 3 continents and displays such continuity of message that it could not be the product of human effort. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Search out the truth for yourself.

Human logic, human reasoning, human rational thought... These are not some of the tools we have for gaining knowledge, these are all we are working with. If we bypass these means, then our belief cannot rightfully be called knowledge.

When we are five years old, are we able to understand what a thirty year old knows? Times that by infinity. There is a reason for it all and we don't need to know it. We are after all God's CHILDREN.

Not being god, I don't know, but maybe a power hungry person waaaaaaaaaaay back then, might think; "Gee what a bunch of dumb savages, let me come up with something to keep them from killing me and also working to feed me and my family, let me become a high priest or prophet and make them worship "something" with me being the middle man, good for them, better for me.
