I don't think being a vegetarian has anything to do with eye twitches.

Don't worry about it. You could be under stress of some kind and it's expressing itself by twitching in your eyes.

Unless the twitches affect your eyesight or your school work, or if they are causing people to tease you, then I'd say just live with it.

If they are really interfering with your life then go see a doctor.

Sometimes vegetarians do miss out on some important nutrition. A dietary deficiency with neurological symptoms could be a possibility, but only a nutritionist could help you sort out what you may be missing.

Strained eye muscles.
Has he started getting his eyes examined each year?
If not... Its probably a good time to start.
His vision may have changed and require glasses to relieve the straining he may be doing with his eyes to self correct his vision..
His eyes could also be just tired from heavy use...like reading more then usual at the beginning of a new school year.

An eye exam is the best way to tell....
