Those of you who say it's unethical, please me a bit more elaborate as why to it is unethical. Although much research can be done and is done an adult stem cells (without the same ethical dilemmas), the totipotent nature of embryonic stem cells has even more potential to study and trace the cycle that diseases take and create medicines that target them. I believe that while adult stem cells should be used when the two are equally useful, the potential that embryonic stem cells bring in should not utilized to their fullest potential WITH strict regulations on how they are to be obtained. Embryos from in-vitro fertilization are often thrown out after the succesful implantation and birth and can be regulated to allow for donation in a way that does not encourage people to store more eggs than necessary.
