No.

He is faithful even when we are not.

Without the liberty to sin we would all be robots. In order for liberty to exist, we must have the ability to make choices for ourselves.

Man is not more powerful than God. As you said, liberty is "in" Christ. He is more able to protect it than we are to destroy it.

God bless you.

It's not necessarily due to the rise in sin amongst the world, but rather due to the fact that as we get closer to the end of days and "evil men and seducers will wax worse and worse..." as Scripture says, I believe the change is being brought about by God simply removing His restraining hand of grace from us. Look at the evil that has been wrought out of things that COULD have been good for man over the last 100 years or so and that should give you an indication.

No, it's due to your religion.

Your religious liberties are being diminished because Christianity, at least in the US, is shooting itself in the foot. By allowing government to exert favoristism to certain religious beliefs, you are allowing them control over your own religion. The wall of separation of church and state not only helps the atheists. It helps everybody. The reason so many different religions and sects of religions flourish in this country is because the government tends to leave them alone. This will end once separation of church and state is dissolved.

No, it's vanishing because we are entering a new age of reason and understanding of our natural world. It's funny how the more we know, the less religious we become. Tells you something, doesn't it?

James 1:15 (New International Version)

15Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

Sinners should be treated harshly.
