yes it does, take it from a man whose avatar is of a large beer. Alcohol not only changes the way you think, but it also changes the way you look and even the way you smell. I used to work at a liquor store and when the alkies came for a forty at 7:00 am, they had a disgusting pungent smell eminating from them. Since the alcohol is in the blood stream, it also gets into the skin causing severe damage to it and causes a distinct foul smell. Also alcohol is a depresant, so with time, it kills any motivation or ambition. It does a lot than getting you drunk, i can tell ya that..

Alcohol most definitely changes people. Most people will being to act more uninhibited after a few drinks. After many drinks, some people can become abusive or downright annoying. Alcoholics can definitely be physically & verbally abusive when they are drinking and when they are NOT drinking- they are just thinking about their next beer and still just don't act like themselves.

When do I not drink alcohol...I watched the show Intervention and I saw an alcoholic on there that got very fidgety and moody when she could not drink and she did actually have a physical withdrawal.

I think that most alcoholics are predisposed to becoming one. (heredity) I know someone that drinks often, almost daily. His grandfather was a terrible (is there a good one??) alcoholic. I don't understand...and I am laughing at the ludicrisy...how parents can allow their minor children to drink as long as they "do it at home"! RIDICULOUS. They are building alcoholics. Irresponsibilty.
